See A Doctor

Face to face or video appointments with experienced GMC-registered doctors

Why see a GP at Mayfield Clinic?

Our GPs are available to provide medical advice, physical assessments, answer your questions, refer to our extensive network of specialists, prepare sick notes (where needed) and issue prescriptions. They provide lifestyle advice based on the most recent research and guidelines.

Our extended appointments are typically available same day. You can choose the GP you would like to see, and we work with our team of in-house specialists to co-ordinate your primary care.

How do I access GP services?

Non-Members' Minor Illness or Minor Injury Clinics - To use our service you must be registered with a NHS GP or another named GP. We provide a minor-illness or minor injury service to non-members, designed to complement the care delivered by your existing GP. Notes from your consultation will be shared back with you, and we ask that they are shared on with your primary GP. We will direct any follow-up communication back to your primary GP.

Members' GP Appointments - For those looking to use Mayfield Clinic GPs primarily (or exclusively), we ask that you become a member of the Mayfield Clinic Membership scheme. For these registered patients, we will maintain a permanent medical record.

Emergency Care

Mayfield Clinic is not an emergency service so we do not treat emergencies. If you think you have an emergency please call 111/999 or go to A&E. Some examples of emergencies can be found here.
